How can I put myself as i was not Idle for an year to show i had 2 years of experience in software, but i had 3 years of gap after my post graduation.
in that period I worked for a bpo industry. please suggest me.

If this is for a resume' (which it sounds like it is) just list your experience and time line. Don't try to smudge the details. If for 3 years you didn't work in the software industry, just put what it was you were doing.
