Asking someone what's the best margarita is like asking what is the best movie. Everyone likes it different. Some like it forthy, frozen or sweeter.
Just the basic and you can adjust for yourself:
2 part tequila
1 part orange liquor
Modulate with lime juice for strength of drink

Equal parts tequila, triple sec,and double up on the sweet and sour. Jose Quervo is the best as far as sweet and sour. Been doing Margaritas for over 15 years Have even made them in Large quantities this way. 25 gallons to be exact. Of course the better the tequila and triple sec the better the Margarita. Try Jose Tequila and use Grand Marnier or Cointreo

I like the margarita bucket. Just pour a bottle of tequila in and freeze. It's a slushy delight. Have a few friends over and voila, instant party! Then you all turn into slushy delights.
