I want to make or buy something for my teacher.

well depends on what its for, theres a book out there called light for my path for teachers also chicken soup for teachers etc.... for christmas heres what i did, got my teacher one of those books a nice christmas orenament and a lb of sealed dunkin doughnuts coffeee and stucka christmas card in a nice wooden bissness card holder

I think it is sweet for you to want to do this. I don't know your age, but most teachers would appreciate a gift you made yourself because of the thought behind it. If you want to buy something, note cards are useful for writing to parents. Or, just a book of stamps. They're always needed and appreciated. I just thought of something: a student gave me a book of coupons for Dunkin' Donuts. It wasn't expensive but I appreciated it. I think I ended up using it to buy Munchkins for the class, but it did save me the money of buying them myself. Or, maybe a coupon for a manicure (usually not more than about $8) from a local shop.

something handmade works...depends on how old you are...i'm 18 and i got my teacher a necklace......sometimes something like a book works.....
