Instead of coming illegally to the US the Mexicans should fight against their corrupt goverment.
How is possible that the third richest man in the world (according to forbes magazine) is a very well known mexican (carlos slim helu) (by the way "slim" is a lebanese last name because that guy is of arabian ancestry). The point here is that the richest families in Mexico have reached their economic status due to the fact that the corrupt goverment allows them to have the property of monopolies. In the case of the arabian mention above he is the owner of the national mexican telephone company (telmex). It is clear that the mexicans should request in a very strong way to their corrupt goverment to stop such monopolies but unfortunelity they risk themselfs to be killed for such goverment.

Have you ever been to Mexico? What you’re proposing is a “Coup d'état” or simply a Coup….a Revolution, a Rebellion? “Fight against their corrupt government?” Do you have any idea what you’re talking about? So they can start a civil war, that the US will surely get involved with, (more US money). No matter what changes are made…there will never be the advantages there…..like the ones in the US. The benefits of living in the US will always outweigh the benefits of living in any other country. Immigrants will always want to come here…..from everywhere!! And…..One rich man….does not a country make!

They don´t fight because it´s easier to blame all their problems on someone else (ie the US) instead of confronting the issues at home. A lot of people don´t want to take on responsibilities that they don´t think they can handle, and turning the corrupt Mexican government around is taking a HUGE bite that no ones seems to be able to even attempt to chew.

Why can't we just do what the american settlers did leave their country to come here. But unlike you we won't be coming here to kill the people that are from here. We will just come here and work and get money and live well.

what would be better is for the US to help mexico by rebuilding their facilities and making mexico a better country to live in so that the people won't have the need to immigrate into america
and it would save lives and cost less money than we're wasting in the war in iraq
