I have been in a loving, if rocky, relationship the past five years, and am falling in love with a mutual friend. The mutual friend and I have a strong spiritual bond, which my current beau and I do not have but is very important to me. On top of that, they are very good friends. I love them both!

Definately definately Yes. Trust me! Yes! Some might say its wrong, but it's something you can't control. You know i'm right! Right or wrong, it still happens. The thought of it sounds quite lucky but it is probably one of the most horrible feelings in the world. People will say 'just choose', like it's that simple. That's like asking for you to chose between two of your children that you feel the same love for. In the end you will do, or should do what is right for you. My advise, don't take others advise. Nope not true love. Sure you can love them in different ways but romantically if you love someone it takes up all that room. You admit the relationship you have been in is rocky and not satisfying to you therefore how can you call that a love relationship? Relationships work to the extent that they meet the needs of BOTH of the people involved. Your relationship doesn't meet your needs, therefore it doesn't work for you. You need to make a decision and stick to it but right now you are risking everyones feelings and emotional well being, including yours. This is no way to conduct your life and you know that. I think what you are hung up on is the 5 years, time doesn't equal love. Good luck!

I think it's very possible to be in love with two people at the same time, but it's extremely difficult. All your needs are not being met by your current relationship, so you are getting them met by this mutual friend. Good luck in whatever happens, trust me it's not easy.

If you can fall for someone else then maybe you are getting over your boyfriend. I say let go of your beau and get with your mutual friend. He might be better for you.

Well do you want rocky or smooth? I think you want both. Why don't you ask them to share you? If they are friends they might share you for a while...then you have to choose one if you want to have kids...that could wait a while. Who knows, you sound like you could get bored with the spirtual guy...Usually a rocky relationship means good sex. So which end of your body are you going to go with? Where your arms meet or where you legs meet?

baby you need to get real about the situation because you are going to lose two men if you dont decide. plus if your man aint treating you right and you are a young lady the dhell with his feelings you need to worry about your life especially if you are young theres more than one dude in this world if the things dont workout between anyone of the two then move on. They say friends are the best lover and you and the friend are really close save dating him for later on in your life he may make a good soul mate

You can, but be careful, if you choose to be with the other person it will cause a major upset between you all. But you have to be honest with yourself and those you want in your life, If you are unhappy say something about it now, don't wait until it gets out of hand. Follow your heart

it happens all the time to be in love with two ppl. but in ur case i think u r falling in love with this other gy cause ur b f is not giving u the emotional support and this other guy is. u have to make up u mind u cannot have the cake and at it to. i hope u do figue out ur true love. best of luck

Yes, it's possible...but in allowing yourself to fall for someone else, were you telling yourself inwardly that the time was over with you and your boyfriend? Generally, when we love someone, it's not so easy for someone else to come into our heart in a romantic way.

maybe you are just unhappy or bored in your present relationship and looking for a way out .. and you could be in love with one and just love the other .. such as a dear friend
