I was a chef in college, and I prepare really good meals almost 7 days a week for my family...but there are days, when I just can't take it and I need a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, and while I find it comforting...I just know I'm going to food hell for eating it.

Pie. Especially apple pie.

Another one that isn't really pie - if I don't want something sweet, I want cheese and tomato pie that my mom used to make. It's puff pastry rolled into a pan, poked all over with a fork then baked with shredded cheese and slices of tomato. Horribly fattening but so good.

lol...I was really PMS-y today, so I went for my comfort food...fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and chocolate. It always makes me feel better. I'll worry about burning off the calories later :-)

Home-baked macaroni. My mom taught me how to make it. I make it really cheesy, with sort of a cheese crust on top, it's way better then nasty old store-bought. I'm hungry just thinking about it.

usuallly i'd go with ice cream because the creamy texture is so delicious, but i like bread pudding with white choolate swirls and rasberry sauce more...but i don't eat it often because i have to go to a restaurant to eat it.
