Ok I see what you are saying, and yeah that question, or whatever it was, was so far out-there its stupid, but at the same time I am a Christian and proud of it, but I do not shove my religion on anybody, if you ask I will tell, and if something needs fixed I will do I can to fix it. I completely understand where you are coming from when you talk about all the religious terrorists I have studied them all-through my college career, and the answer is always the same... You can not group people together just because they worship as a "christian"; people choose for themselves what they think is right and wrong, and I do not at all agree with starting a religious war, or even trying to convince someone there is a God, but if they ask me why I believe I have no problem telling them. Each religion has their radicals, lets face it until the end of the world theee will always be people like this. No one person can change it, but ther is nothing wrong with speaking out against it either.

I don't judge all Muslims based upon the actions of a few. I don't judge Jews based upon what Muslims or anyone has to say about them. Likewise, though you are making an excellent point, please don't judge all Christians based upon the actions of a few extremists or what the media has to say about Christians. I once heard someone say that Christianity is not about perfect people, because it is a faith based on our sin and inability to redeem ourselves. Hence, we are not perfect and are reliable on a Savior. That means that if you meet someone who is a Christian then you can be certain that they are not perfect and that they are in desperate need of a Savior and have come to terms with that. The church is not a museum for the saints but a hospital for the sinners. I don't go to Church because I am perfect, then I wouldn't need it. I go because I do need it and I can admit that. Most Christians have come to learn about being judgmental and hateful, but there are those who haven't yet. I say, judge Christianity not on Christians, but on Christ.

how can you say we, specifically, are full of it? everyone stereotypes, everyone judges (look, you're doing it now). i can tell you, this guy here...does not hold the majority opinio. yes, terrorism is in all religions. i'm sure there are athiestic terrorists as well. and...athiests DO point fingers at a certain religion. can you honestly say you guys have the same views of buddhists? do athiests walk around calling them a bunch of mentally ill morons? i don't know, maybe you do, but society here seems to be much more accepting of that religion. maybe it just seems more glamorous to elevate thyself by finding inner sanctity.

Playing "devil's advocate" here
Yes there has been terrorism in the name of Christianity, but only one visit to the New Testement and the teachings of Jesus would show that anyone killing in name of religion is NOT behaving as a Christian should. Jesus never taught to kill or destroy your enemies, regardless of their religion. However, the terrorists we see today ARE acting in accordance to their religion. The Qu'ran teaches that Jews and Christians are friends of the Devil and should be destroyed if they dont follow Islam, it also teached the USA is "The Great Satan" and that Islam is to destroy it. So a Muslim cannot say they are not acting in accordance to their religion because it IS what their holy book says. There are Muslims who are peaceful and do not want to kill anyone, but they arent following the teachings of Muhammad. There are "christians" who want to kill people, but they are not following the teachings of Jesus.
See the difference?

All I can say is this: Those Aren't True Christians. Think about it, there are bad people and good people. There are those who "say" they are Christians and those who practice it. The bible speaks about love, it mentions wars in the beginning as a historical perspective, a note in history. Christians are not terrorists, Terrorists are terrorists.

Wow, that is scary behavior, and the girl's response was feeding it; that is what goes on in their church services......
I took care of a Catholic man who came into the ER with a split open lip, dealt out by a Baptist man at work who assaulted him, because the Catholic wouldn't convert to Christianity.....I think some of them are actually losing their ever-loving minds.
I encouraged the Catholic man to take his enemy to court and seek compensation.
Thanks for the good example....that makes your argument more solid....

We all sin and fall short of what God and our fellow man expects of us. At times, when confronted by a difficult problem, our actions do not reflect the response that our true value systems should be.
The key is to try to understand where the other person is coming from. Try to see the problem from the other persons perspective and most importantly, MEAN IT when we pray "Forgive our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us."

Thanks for posting those examples of Christian terrorism. People think that, just because no one talks about anything but Muslim terrorists anymore, that Muslims are the only ones who have ever killed in the name of a religion.

Don't be hypocritical. I don't think anyone would argue that there is no Christian terrorism going on right now. There are extremists in every faith, including atheism. The solution is not to point fingers, but to show openness to peaceful discussion and consideration of others. You are exhibiting neither.

Terrorism, anger, war, cruelty, and hatred are, and always have been, a part of all worldly religions. These are religions that teach and practice the traditions and teaching of man. This is not true of those who are taught by God.
