Ok I got a puppy a month ago, she is three months now. The shelter told me she is part German Shepherd. My vet says she thinks she is going to end up around 25 lbs. (I know not German Shepherd like) ANYHOW, Does anyone know a site that helps you determine what mix your dog is?

No **** dumbass! I don't intend to show her or maybe I would ******* care if she was a pedigree, I prefer to love any of the animals I can, I don't care if they have papers!

Try looking at that. They have a lot of pictures of mixed breeds and maybe you will find something similar...good luck!

Dogbreedinfo.com has tons of breed photos - you can check there. Or any book that has breed profiles.

Shelters tend to label dogs that are several generations of mixed breed as Shepherd mixes. Don't know why, other than the general body structure and coloring that mixes (as opposed to crosses, which are the offspring of parents of two different pure breeds) tend to have. It is quite possible that your dog is a mix of four or five breeds (or more) and you won't be able to pinpoint what her ancestors were.

you could try going to the AKC site and looking at the different dogs there. sometimes you can get an idea that way. do not look at the whole dog but in parts. does she have a long nose, what is the shape of the ears, what type coat does she have, etc.

I looked your dog up in the Book of Famous Dogs and guess What!?!!? It`s not there because it is a MUTT and MUTTS don`t have PEDIGREES and you should know this by now because it has been said for the millionth time!!!!
