OMG!!!!!!!!! I have always wondered why they just flavour the orange!Good question.

Hi because they taste like orange for some reason, they are my favourite ones, they should just make orange ones. I wonder if they still taste like orange now they have taken all the artificial colours out of them. And what happend to the blues ones,

Because they are the only ones flavoured with orange chocolate. Sorry for the person who replied they liked the blue smarties best,they dont do those anymore do they because of the artificial flavouring

because they actually taste of orange and the rest just taste of normal milk chocolate, i never knew you got orange smarties when i was little, it wasn't until somebody else gave me a packet that i realised you got them, for years my mum had been taken them out and eating them herself as those were her favourite kind i was a deprived child. ha ha

it's to do with the organic dyes they use, I'm not sure what they use for the orange dye but i know they still use crushed Beatles for the red smarties
