This very question was posed to Dr. Drew last weekend on the show Strictly Sex with Dr. Drew. He said it's fine to have sex in a hot tub. Also, anything that's left behind after the festivities, will accumulate around the edges of the hot tub. Just thought you might want to know that little tid bid.

Kind of...They aren't the cleanest places in the world and to have the water pushed inside of you can lead to infection...Nothing serious, but not very comfortable, either. Also when having sex in the pool or hot tub, any natural lubrication you make is washed away fairly quickly leaving things a little harder to manuever. It may not be the best place to have sex, but it's definitely worth a try. =)

Yes, because condoms and water don't really mix well. At least in my experience. So that's one way it can be unsafe...also most likely you'll get a yeast or bacterial infection (if you're a girl) Think about it....your forcing water up there. It's gonna get trapped....and neway hot tubs are usually pretty dirty in my opinion. Think how many ppl have sex in it (if it's public) and do you really think they clean it every day! NO...gross.

Yes, I think it is true, hot tub, pool, lake, etc. You would need to check on the Internet, or ask your doctor, but I have heard that water gets pushed into your -------, and that it is not good for you. "Better to be safe than sorry".

I understand for a woman it can lead to a yeast infection, but I've never known it to happen with any of the women I've been with in a hot tub. The most difficult thing I've experienced is it dries the woman out.

Sort of attempted it in Puerto Rico with B.--i don't know whether it's safe, but it isn't easy, and the condom doesn't want to stay on.

As you know, it spoiled the whole mood and we only ended up fooling around in the glass elevator!

Once T and I started in a tub at a hotel we stayed at at S. Rock and i ended up bleeding because the faucet got in the way. i'd stay away from it, chicky!

Not 'safe' how? If you stand up and slip and hit your head against the edge... YES... that would be the most dangerous outcome of your hottub adventure. Otherwise, if you take the same precautions you normally would... and if you are using condoms keep in mind that heat will adversely affect the condom.... shouldn't have significantly higher risks than otherwise.

I'm pretty sure that's bull ****. As long as you use a condom, it should still stay on in a hot tub. Latex acts the same in water I beleive.

I dont know if this is true... however, I have heard that is bad for the girl... because when 'doing it'... the guy shoves water in the girl using his manhood.... which can be bad!!

Apparently... this can cause serious issues... maybe something to check out of the internet.

I guess more research is needed!!!

Hope this helps...

All the best!!!
