Actually beta... I googled the definition of sacrifice before I posted this question...

Anything, material or immaterial, offered to God or a deity as an act of propitiation or homage, the destruction or surrender of something valued or desired for the sake of something having, or regarded as having, a higher or a more pressing claim, the loss entailed by devotion to an interest, also, the thing so devoted or surrendered. To sacrifice means to surrender or give up something for the attainment of some higher advantage or dearer object. ...

P.S... are you aware that your name is spelled wrong? Betta is the correct spelling.

Well, if people are following a faith like this, it should apply then? Heh, but they'll say that it is not allowed ofcourse. Again, it is corrupt.

Since Jesus was the final sacrifice, the sacrificial system related in the Bible ended. Since the Jews continued to offer sacrifices, He allowed the Roman 10th legion to level Jerusalem in 70 AD.

By the way, nowhere in the Bible was human blood sacrifice allowed. That was a practice of the pagan gentiles for which Israel was repeatedly chastised for.

You know, your questions on this topic started out VERY good but now you're getting silly.

No, you cannot sacrifice people and it would not be considered murder. The soldiers who crucified Jesus committed murder. Jesus did what so many other martyrs over the centuries have done - he stood up for his beliefs and his work no matter where it took him, including his own death.

No you cannot. Sacrifices were under the old law from the Old Testament. God no longer requires sacrifices as of the new law which is stated in your New Testament - read it. :o) If you kill anyone, it is considered murder.

Jesus came once and for all as the ulitimate "perfect" sacrifice. No other sacrifice is needed. No human is perfect and would fit the quailifications for a sacrifice.

Jesus was the Son of God in human form. That doesn't make his crucifixion a "human sacrifice" in that sense.

Murder is defined by the country you live in, and if you live in America and you sacrifice someone, you're looking at 25 years at least.

No. You may use your life dedicating it to others as you choose. If you end the life of anyone else is is murder.

Soldiers take risks. They do not commit suicide. U. S. soldiers follow the rules of engagement. They do not engage in murder. They suppress enemy fire until order is restored.

i think you err via a great deal minimizing the topics in contact and via making the easy mistake of "re-contextualizing" previous historic activities during the lens of cutting-edge mores and customs. Jesus replaced into the only individual ever born for the particular purpose of loss of life, and that no longer for Himself, yet for others. He replaced into no longer human in basic terms yet Divine, theanthropic. He replaced into no longer born as the different guy replaced into born so as that He would desire to die as no different guy would desire to die. Suicide it a willful, violent, and often selfish act of self homicide. It presupposes a compromised emotional state and often a deep experience of self loathing. None of those issues have been authentic of Jesus. different than for His selfless loss of life, He rose lower back from the lifeless on the third day. A feat no longer for the faint of heart and that no suicidal individual is remotely drawn to.

There are many scholars that have voiced their suspicions that he may have set up his own suicide by having a disciple turn him in, because he new that the out come would be death.

Fortunately, you probably find yourself living in a secular society ruled by secular values instead of an insane theocratic society of bedouine barbarians. We would consider it murder even if they didn't.
