That has been around for years and years ever since I was a kid although I have not used it in a long time but, I think I recall seeing it still in the supermarkets. It is made made from either papaya or pineapple enzymes and I never ever heard anything about it being pulled off the market. Maybe someone else in here will snag it for you.It worked well. Adolf's Meat Tenderizer was mostly MSG, there are natural meat tenderizers around, some with or without MSG, as a chef I know some people has reactions to MSG.

As the first respondant said, there are fruit based tenderizers, or make your own, lemon or any citrus can do the trick, wine or other acids, just be careful with the salt. But most supermarkets would have a type of meat tenderizer.
