Say the man existed, wouldn't it be more logical to say that he died because he broke the law that was put into place back then? We also have to be reminded that he was not the only one that was put on those crosses. Hundreds before him were killed in that fashion. Why are we not worshipping them? They may have been innocent, they may have believed in god.

Jesus never made any sins...actually I'll re-phrase that..he never sinned because he does not exist. Now looking at it from a christian persons view:...he existed, he will resurrect AGAIN and he never sinned.

Personally I don't believe in him so he hasn't sinned.
But if there was proof he lived then i would say yes he has sinned because innocent people died for him. It's still murder.Because of him, so too me that's a sin for putting people lives at risk. And also he has sinned again, because so many people believe in him so strongly when it's all false.

But hey it ain't his fault is it??
He doesn't exist.
But the question is...How did it all start? Perhaps a Greek Myth that became a big thing. I Don't think we will ever know.

You are mistaken when you say that Jesus Christ sinned. He is God in the flesh. He cannot sin. The Bible says of Jesus, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin" (Hebrews 4:15).
Jesus was innocent when He went to the cross. His death was " by God's set purpose and foreknowledge" (Acts 2:23). Jesus came to die for your sins and my sins. This is how much He loves you--that He would die on the cross for you---bearing your sins upon His body. "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God" (2nd Corinthians 5:21). When you trust Christ as your Savior His righteousness--that is His right standing with God the Father is transferred to your "account." We know that God the Father was satisfied with Jesus' death in your place because on the 3rd day God raised Him from the dead.
Jesus says of the entrance into Heaven: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6)
Place your trust in Christ as your Savior today.

How can "one man" have power? EASY. Its called a "ransom sacrifice." You see we lost eternal life through "one man," Adam. And for ANY SACRIFICE TO BE "OF VALUE" it has to have an equally important sacrifice. So, another "perfect man, or as the Bible called him, "a second Adam" had to die." The second Adam was Christ. However, since "he had not sinned" his life was of EQUAL VALUE to the first Adam "and his sacrifice would replace what Adam had lost for us, eternal life, or a chance for it.

So, your argument is based on faulty logic.

Just because someone is killed, doesn't mean they "deserve it." Movies are based on wrongful killings everyday. AND THAT'S WHY WE WATCH. Because of the injustice!

For one thing, it was the Saducee's and Pharasee's that were "clamoring" for Christ's death, NOT EVEN Pontius Pilate wanted an "innocent man" to die. Rome was the ruler of Palestine and that area of the world and was constantly on guard against sedition, they were terrified of a revolt by the Jews and were finally convinced the only way to settle the matter was to give the Jewish Leaders what they wanted, thus Pilate washed his hands of an innocent mans death and turned him over. Trust me, Pilate was "no sweetheart of a man." He was not some kind person who hated death, he ordered people executed on a constant basis as part of his rule. But to him, this simple man had DONE NOTHING . . .

It all came back to the Jewish religious leaders who hated Jesus. By destroying Jesus they thought they would "end" his teachings and scare away his followers, while they did kill Jesus' earthly form, his followers became even more convinced and after his resurrection they had even more orders and instructions from him to follow. So their plan merely made him and his followers stronger and more cohesive, and made Christ Jesus Immortal, something he hadn't been before, as a reward for his suffering and more importantly his ability to following "thru" with love for his father and human subjects.

Kiki, if one believes the bible to be given by inspiration of God, which I do, I will believe the things it tells me about Jesus and why He went to the cross. I will also believe, as the bible says, that He was in every way "tested" as we are....but was without sin.

So even though I appreciate you have these questions, my answer is no...Jesus was sinless, and died on the cross to pay for our sins.

If you would simply read the Bible your question would be clearly answered. When He was brought before Herod,Herod washed his hands of the affair saying "He has broken no law". The Roman governor bowed to the wishes of the crowd who were incited by the Pharisees, who were in danger of loosing they're influence over the minions.Christ followed the will of God,and died for our sins.He had none.

at that time Jerusalem was occupied by the Roman military, Jesus was prosecuted for being an enemy of the state, probably meaning he was involved in planning a revolt, the Jews didn't like the Roman oppression, Josephus the historian wrote of nineteen different Jesus's

We don't worship him because he was crucified. He also wasn't crucified because "he broke the law that was put into place back then." Jesus had no sin. He was unjustly crucified and yes there were probably others who were innocent who were crucified also. We don't worship them because they were just human. We worship Jesus because he was God in human form, and because he overcame death and rose again. We don't worship him because he believed in God. We worship him because he is God.

this is not the point of the "story"...whether or not u believe it, the thing is that even Pontius Pilate, the one in charge, found NO blame, No guilt, that Jesus had done Anything to deserve crucifying. but the people kept pushing for Jesus' death! so he said, since there is no blame on this man, i will let you set a prisonor free, or you must set Jesus free. and the people CHOSE Barrabus, a thief and murderer, to be set free, and to make Jesus take his place. Pilate was doing all he could to try and save Jesus, but the people kept crying for His death. that is why it is seen as a Pure Sacrifice...He did not do anything that was worth dying for, but He did it knowingly, and willingly...He is God, in human form, and therefore IS greater than any man, and was the only one who could make that sacrifice and still remain pure, w/o blaming others, w/o fending for himself.
