I have a good straightener. It has ceramic plates and was expensive. Now my hair is healthy and is shiny when I dry it naturally. But when I straighten it, I want it to be really silky and shiny. Any recommendations? I tried biosilk but for some reason, it doesn't work on my hair. I know it doesn't work on everyone though. I also use matrix sleek styling cream which makes it softer, but I want SHINE! ; )

To get rid of frizz, I use Bedhead's Spoil Me. You just spray it on your hair to prevent flyaways. Then I use RedKen's Glass for shine. You can use it on dry or damp hair.

Put moisturizing hair creme on you hair before straightening, try a light hair oil before straightening or spray a light mist of Oil Sheen after straightening. Out of those three options you should see some shine

There are lots of shine products but get some Frizz Ease, by John Freida. There is also a shine product from Garnier Fructise.

because straighteners dry out your hair, go buy some spray biosilk and spray in after straightening

I just bought this product by TRESemme that works really well on making your hair really shiny. Make sure to not spray too much on your roots as it will make it feel too greasy.

Because straightening is so bad for your hair, it dulls the cuticle, so it doesn't shine. You could use a silicone product to get artificial shine, or you could just TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR.

It burns your hair so the hair gets all dry and frizzy. I would use the Pantene Pro-v (whatever your hair color is) expressions. It worked great for me!
