#1- if my cousin has a child, how is that child related to me? second cousin?

#2- how would my cousin's child be related to MY child? what is that called?

#3- what is my mother's cousin to me? that cant be 2nd cousin too, can it?

your first cousin's child is your SECOND cousin

#1-Yes, it would make a second cousin.

#2-The relationship between your child and your second cousin would probably a third cousin. I'm not as sure about this one as I am about the first one.

Lastly, #3-Your mother's cousin would (or should) be your second cousin too.

1. If your FIRST cousin has a child that would be your SECOND cousin

2. if your FIRST cousin has a child that would your child's THIRD cousin.

2. If it is your mothers FIRST cousin that it would be your SECOND cousin.

First cousins to you are kids of Aunts and uncles, your first cousins kids are your second cousins, your second cousins kids are your third cousins.
