....in september in michigan, (its gonna be like 55 degrees) im going with my class for 5 days 4 nights to YMCA storer camp, and i have no idea what to bring. were staying in cabins with air and heat, going horseback riding, u know, all the camp stuff. i will not need to have food, they will provide it @ the mess hall.....so please... give me an idea of what clothes to bring...etc.etc.... THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS!!!! ps. i dont want 2 bring a ton of stuff...pps...sorry i put it in the wrong category...i didnt kno wich 1!!!

You should always pack layers. One warm jacket or sweatshirt, two or three long sleeve shirts, a couple of t-shirts, two or three pairs of jeans, lots of warm socks, boots or sturdy shoes, warm pj's. If it is only going to be 55 during the day night will be cold even with heat in a cabin. Bring enough underwear to change every day. And bring a light weight jacket that is waterproff in case it rains.

Actually, it is unlikely to be that cold during your trip. In that area of Michigan, during the month of September, the average high is 73 and the average low is 50 (in the middle of the night).

easy, 1 pair of clothes for hot weather, 1 pair for cold, 1 pair for wet, prepare to re-wear your clothes, bring some fabrize, it works wonders, and you should be fine. Thats how I packed in the Army, i was ready for anything

sweater, couple of jeans/long pants, tshirts, underwear, light to heavy jacket, toiletries (toothbrush/toothpaste, etc)., insect repellent (if you are prone to insect/mosquitoes), umbrella (just in case it rains), pillow case/sleeping bag, sneakers, socks
