Spray some mousse or hair spray on your hands. Flip your hair upside down and scrunch the mousse or hair spray into your hair. Then flip your hair back up and you should have less flat hair.

Try giving it a little lift with some root lifting products. Alot of saloon lines carry things like that. You could also try blow drying your roots while you lift them up, and use a styling product to hold it in place. If I'm in a hurry though, the easiest thing is to take the top layers of your hair, rat them a little with a comb and hairspray the underside. Just don't brush it out until after you've washed it again! Broken frizzy hair is much worse than flat hair.

You could go for a perm. A good professional hairdresser who has a good reputation should be able to give you good advice.
