I love dogs because I'm alone a lot and my dogs make me feel important. They make me feel like i'm doing something right and I look forward to seeing them whenever i'm out. The best experience I had was when my friend was playing with my 40 lb shepherd whippet mix by lifting her onto his 6 foot high shoulder and accidentally dropped her. She squeeled so loudly and for like 5 minutes and limped for 45 minutes. But, after the drop, he tried to call to her so he could comfort her, but she came to me, mommy. She got into my lap, curled up for comfort and licked me! My poor baby was hurt, but she came to mommy! The discipliner and the fun person! I felt loved and respected! Now I know how people feel about their children. It really is a great feeling. It was a true test of my dogs love for me and she passed with flying colors.

I love both. At one time I had 14 dogs and 6 cats

I love both dogs and cats. I think that i like dogs a little better though they are way more fun to play with.

I prefer cats, but I like dogs too. I have the two best cats in the world. I miss having a dog.... :(

I prefer dogs .Cats dont seem to be as fun to take on walks,play fetch with,stand up and beg for a treat with and most of all the homes I visit with cats always hold a stinky odor.
