what you are saying is impossible...you cannot install 3 operating systems on 1 partition, windows simply wont let you
you can install 3 operating systems on one hard drive but first you need to create a primary partition, and then 2 logical drives ,or a easier way is to do this in windows xp installation, when you get to the disc set up part ,delete the only partiton and then create 3 partitons,so if you have a 120gb hard drive you need to make 3 x 40gb partitions
then you install xp on the 1st partition and so on,allways start with the first partition, its not the rule but its the way i do it and nothing goes wrong
if you are installing older operating systems(95,98,me,2000) then you need to install the oldest 1st,the reason for this is that the older versions of windows used different boot systems,so if you do it xp 1st,98 would wipe out the xp boot up
i did a 98/millenium/xp install and its as easy as 123,just do as i have instructed and you should have no problems
you will need a 98 start up disk, this is to install the first operating system, you can get this from http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm,copy this to your hard drive and when you run it,insert a floppy disk and the program will create a 98 start up disk
you can then install millenium from the 98 desktop, but obviously use "d" drive as 98 is on"c".
then when you have done milllenium, put xp in your drive and install it on "e",so you have the 3 systems on c,d,e
one thing to remember is that you have to install seperate drivers on each version of windows, and also any other important software(broadband drivers, virus+spyware protection),remember this, its very important
when this is done ,upon boot up you will be given a list of 3 windows and you just use the up/down keys to choose and then enter
this is a good project to do if you have a spare p.c to pratice on or even if you want to do it on your main system
any probs let me know
good luck
