If you have a dog or cat that is a homosexual, do you love them anyways if you believe it's an abomination

Don't tell me that they don't go gay, because I've seen it with my own two eyes, in dogs and cats behavior.

My friend's chihuahuas were father and son and butt buddies, how sick is that? How can one of god's creatures do something like this if he doesn't like it. Do animals get free will to, and if so, do they get to go to heaven?

Given a very intelligent answer, which is correct. Why is it O.K. for animals and not people? I am an atheist and am trying to get religious people who hate gays to re-think why they do. I am straight and married so, this is not about me, but the animals I've owned and those I've met.

I have to say, dogs and cats, they aren't gay.

Humans and Dolphins (or is it Whales) are the only beings that have intercourse for pleasure (or that's all that has been proved thus far). The purpose of intercourse for all other beings is to procreate, more little pups and kitties running around. The reason why dogs hump other dogs is to breed, or to show dominance. So, for instance, if your male dog is humping another male dog, he is telling him he is the alpha male...or he is retarded (like actually retarded, it can occur in dogs, in which case he does not know what hes doing). Female dogs will do the same thing, as will cats. They will also hump you to tell you they are boss, then you should have then at obediance school. And as far as licking another dog or what have you, its a way of showing affection, like you might kiss your mother. Sure you wouldn't lick her butt to show her you cared, but then again you wouldn't lick your own to clean it.

And just to be clear, I am only trying to correct your science here, not your cause.

Cat's and dog's have a certain amount of free will (free will is confusingly debatable, b/c although we might think we have free will, it could be possible that God chose for us to do a certain thing and we're simply following through - just food for thought, don't know if I agree w/ that). My cat roams all around the house to take naps - no one is controlling him with a remote. However, a lot of it is instinct. I.E loud noises will make him run; the place cats choose to rest is usually quiet, in the sun and soft. They can walk not long after being born. Bottomline: animals can have a certain level of intelliegence but the majority of what they do is instinctual.

That said, there are many animals of the same sex who have been seen spending time together...intimately...so wouldn't this mean that they're doing this out of some compulsion and not free will?

Of course I'd love my cat - he's God's creature too and I can't fault him for being different.

If they hate homosexuals then they are not religious but atheists.
We have dominion over animals and can't be compared to them.
Homosexuality is still abomination for those who are conscious of right and wrong and are capable of stop sinning. They can stop and it has been proven. To expect animals to be moral is stupid on ur part. You defintely a dumb blonde, leave the hair dye alone it's messing with ur brain cells!

Oh - and yes, animals do get a get out of hell free card. Most christian religions don't believe that animals have souls, and so they simply cease to exist when they die.

They should be kept away from young dogs and cats. They should not be allowed to lay up with the same sex dogs or cats. They should get specialized homosexual pet therapy. Don't allow them to copulate with their own gender in public. Don't allow puppies or kittens to observe their fraternizing. Keep human children at a safe distance so they are not traumatized by observing any aberrant homosexual behaviors.

In the animal kingdom, mounting is an assertion of dominance, not necessarily a homosexual act. It's instinctual behavior, not a "choice" as many believe it is in humans.

Animals do not have the knowledge of good and evil, therefore they dont sin no matter what they do. They have sex with family members, sniff eachother's butts and eat their young too. Should humans do these things as well since animals do it?
