And he is getting very serious already. He says he loves me and my daughter, and wants to marry me. He wants us to move into his mansion in a few months, etc. He is very loving and affectionate, etc. But, I'm very could and watchful of everything, including this. What do you all think? Thanks a bunch!

3 weeks???
1.) There is something wrong with any guy thats so needy he asks a girl to marry in 3 weeks.
2.) Mansion huh?
3.) Loves you and your daughter in just 3 weeks.....I'm thinking not.
4.) Keep the welfare of your daughter as a priority here.

I would put a wait on it just tell him you need more time to get to know him and if he is serious then he will understand but dont count him out cause look at all the men out there that want nothing to do with there own kids and he is willing to be there for yours he could be a keeper good luck and i hope he turns out to be mister right for you some of us need to get lucky enough to find one!

TIME... you need to give it time. The L word after three weeks tells me he is very clingy and needy. The moving in thing tells me he really wants people to be dependent on him. You need to just date this person and let it move easily. You also have to think about your daughter... what is best for her. Moving that fast no matter what type of house or money he has is not going to be good for her.

Girl you better watch him, does he really have a mansion?, i would be a little suspicious its only been 3 wks, he must be really desperate, dont let him get you in a frenzy because you were being naive. Tell him you want to take things slowly because you also have your daughter to think about if something happens you have to worry about her too.

I think you're being smart. Obviously you have a daughter from a previous relationship that didn't end up so good. Don't let your guard down just yet. he may seem perfect now, but give him about a year, and you will see his true colors. Even after then, don't be suprised what you find out! Good luck, girl!

honey after 3 weeks love i don't think so maybe lust if it's the real deal you wouldn't mine slowing things down a bit and see were yall at in 6 months. Your daughter shouldn't know nothing about a man you only known for 3 weeks girl give it sometime pump your brakes and slow down.

errrrrr run away - tell him to slow down - he sounds too intense!! Seriously there is a time limit on this sort of thing no matter the feelings that exist - there is a lot to get to know and understand if he really likes you he will respect your feelings if you sit him down and explain to him gently (but firmly!) Tell him that it is just a bit too quick and you would like to enjoy getting to know him a bit more.

Good luck ...not easy! I used to fall in love too quickly (caused me lots of grief)

be cautious of his intensions...you have a daughter who comes first before all. If he really loves you then he can wait to prove himself by giving you time to get to know a bit better.

So what's the problem? Do you think he really loves you?
Maybe he's your prince charming, go for it.
