We Shouldn't Have To Use Force

ILLEGAL ALIENS Should Take The Hint And Self Deport

Instead Of Sitting There Holding Their Breath
Waiting For An Amnesty That WILL NOT MANIFEST
They Should Leave The Nation Peacefully
And If They Want To Return
Do So In A Manner According To Our Laws

We Shouldn't Have To Use Force
But We WILL If We Have To

Take The Hint

Deportation should take place, yes. We first need to secure all borders before we can effectively control the flow. What is the use of deporting illegals if they run right back in? Once the borders are secure, we will be able to begin the deportation process. As far as "cheap labor" and "unwanted jobs" its a myth. We did a pull of worker visa's in the early 60's and all these "experts" said our econimy would suffer since we did not have illegals to pick veggies. They simply made machines that accomplished the job. Necessity is the mother of invention.

Yes!!! They are law breakers!!! We should pound on their doors in the middle of the night (so we know they are home) and drag them off to a jail cell. At the earliest opportunity they should be thrown on an airplane in the middle of the night and flown out of the country. Who cares if they haven't been there in years and have no means of support. THEY ARE ILLEGAL!! If these ILLEGALS have acquired any property in there years here like, I don't know, a house or a car or furniture it should all be confiscated and sold. The proceeds can be divided up among AMERICANS!! That is the price these ILLEGALS pay for soiling our great nation.

Do you not see ILLEGAL in front of immigrants? What is the definition of illegal? Geeze people. Heck yes deport before it gets any worse. Our country is already going to pot. They work for 2 cheap and keep the minimum wage down. Don't pay taxes, Keep the economy down. Can't speak english. Polute the air. And take up space. Plus they commit crimes and we allow them to stay, what the hell is this about? All they want is what America can do for them, not what they can do for America. They can't vote, so why are they here???

Of course. As a hispanic american from south texas, i really think that we shouldcharge them with a felony. not only that but the government spends so much money on all kinds of crap, we could usem that money to build more jails and prisons, perfably to house only illegal immigrants, since that is the #1 excuse we use (not enough jail room) we could use old air force bases. etc. i really support hte border patrol and what they do and am for military on the border.

I think we're coming to that point, yes. We have legal immigrants from as many countries as there are, but right now the neighbors are trying to move in en masse, without so much as a 'vaya con permiso'. And, it's not just Mexico, and the United States, illegal immigration's a global problem, there's 6.6 billion people in the world, it only stands to reason that they're going to try to seek a better life given a chance to do so. If, instead, they invested their efforts in MAKING a better life right where they lived, they'd be wealthier and less road-weary, in my view, and although emigrating to the United States is widely seen as this magical way to bring an end to all your worldly cares, the tales of crime and misfortune that have befallen this last group of would-be immigrants has eclipsed almost all previous groups, and frankly by sheer force of numbers it's starting to have a noticeable negative impact, nationwide. You read stories about people coming from distant lands and trying to get in either via Canada, or from Mexico, and they just want to move in and stay. The liberals are generally in agreement with this, as they support people trying to better themselves. The conservatives oppose it as they see it as a form of escapism and a widespread misunderstanding of 21st century america, where owning your own home now basically involves signing a contract with the devil as it were, many 'homeowners' that were born in the USA are about 2 payments from being homeless, most households are approaching 10k in debt, not counting that mortgage/car payments, it's not nearly as pretty a picture as it was 50 years ago when you could own that home for 10 thousand bucks.

Times have changed. The world has changed. And, our immigration policies and enforcement standards have lagged seriously behind compared to these global changes. America, which once boasted a sizeable portion of the worlds' population, 'lost' the overpopulation race many decades ago,
as a result we do not face some of the more widespread problems today, and we're still a global food exporter, for the most part. But, as with our previous status as world's largest lender having been buried in the history books, we could see the day when we have too many mouths to feed for the existing arable land to support.

Relative prosperity is all about maintaining a balance, and illegal immigration en masse upsets that balance. We need to sit down and consider carefully just exactly what kind of future we're trying to build, here, because a future with unchecked illegal immigration will ultimately result in one thing: Nationwide poverty.
It's not america's fault we've come to this point, but here we are anyway, apparently the only nation(or one of the few) on earth that teaches birth control in school. Millions living on the edge of starvation in other countries would LOVE to move to america, in a heartbeat. Make that tens of millions, probably hundreds of millions, maybe even billions, by some people's estimation.

But, at the end of the day, the way to beat that starvation trend is to a) not eat your seed corn and b) teach people to 'fish' for themselves. The christian ethic of 'give a man a fish, he eats for today, teach him to fish, he eats for a lifetime' applies here in spades. Teaching the negative effects of overpopulation helps people to gain the insight needed to realize that the part they play in their country's future is more important than ever, that their decisions do in fact influence the rest of the world, and while it's good to want to help, enlightened assistance is a superior choice to simply flinging the doors wide and hoping for the best...

Yes. There are here illegally and are therefore breaking the law. And what do we do with criminals? In the case of illegals, we should send them back across the border to where they came from. What makes them so special they should be exempt from our laws?

2006-08-23 08:51:52 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 2 1

Absolutely. Just as all criminals should be in jail all illegal immigrants should be forced back across the border. If you can't follow the rules of society, you may no longer be a part of that society.
