I am 23 and I had a baby just about 2 years ago. Before I had her, I was very thin and had a flat tummy. I gained over 50lbs with her and I have that disgusting mommy "pouch". I just started exercising and dieting and I need to know if it will ever go away and I will get my flat tummy back? Is it possible with hard work or will it always be there? HELP! What kind of exercises can I do to go rid of it?

the best way is to focus on your cardio first. if your knees can handle it, do some interval training (alternate walking and running.) don't cut your calories too fast or your metabolism may slow way down and prevent weight loss.

whatever ab exercises you do, make sure you switch them up on a regular basis - keep your body guessing. an exercise ball is great for this - gives you a nice way to do a bunch of different exercises, if you can ever get it away from your two-year-old.

i'm a fan of yoga, but that's just me. i think it's helped decrease my stress levels, which decreases cortisol levels, which can cause your body to store abdominal fat.

good luck.

I'm feeling your pain, 24 with a 3 yr old! I gained right around 50 pounds as well, it took me almost 2 years to drop the weight! I started the water diet! What I did was drank a glass of water before every meal, this filled my stomach so I didnt eat as much, and started working out everyday!I have stopped the water diet but still work out every day!
I have lost ALL of my weight and then some, but the baby pouch is still there! Sorry for the bad news but, in "MOST" cases that doesnt go away!
GOOD LUCK!

I know exactly what you mean i have a 4 year old and a 2 year old :) Working out really helps but I'm afraid that that is just another reminder of our kids. I have considered a tummy tuck which is a sure way to get rid of it :) keep working out it will really help. Good luck

it will be very hard. Just save about $5000 and have Liposuction.
