Does Canada ever have tornadoes or earthquakes???

Yes and yes, as long as there is a fault line (or an area next to a fault line) there will be earthquakes. Even in cities like Edmonton they have minor minor earthquakes that no one really notices. Tornadoes are actually somewhat common, Manitoba just had one, Alberta has had a few (in the last decade or so) and probably more out there that may or may not have been spotted.

Some areas of Canada do, and some don't. For example I used to live in Southern Ontario and we had tornadoes in the past and warnings when I lived there (although one had not occured in 15 years) I have now moved to Northern Ontario and we never get tornados or warnings, the land simply is not flat enough... we do get blizzards though. Certain parts of Canada (west coast) get earthquakes but other parts of the country do not.

The answer would be yes, but not often. I live in the Maritimes and I only remember one earthquake in my entire life and it was hardly anything. No tornadoes either. It just depends on which part of the country you're in. The west coast obviously gets the most earthquakes, and the mid-west gets tornadoes. The Maritimes get the tail end of hurricanes. We definitely don't seem to have the same devastation the US has to deal with. But then again, we get buried in a blanket of snow every winter;-) So I guess you could say we pay for our safety.

Absolutley. We had a couple tornadoes in Ontario a few weeks ago. Nothing major like in Kansas or anything liek that, but they do happen. And we get minor earthquakes too. Nothing that can be felt though. At least not around here. You have to remember that Canada is the second largest land mass in the world. Just because one area doesn't get severe tornados or earthquakes doesn't mean another area won't either.

Of course Canada has tornadoes and earthquakes. Almost every place on the globe has earth quakes, and Canada lies across several tectonic plates so it gets a fair share of them. Many each day, in fact, but most of them are so minor no one actually feels them, except for the seismographic machines that record the earth's motion. As for tornadoes -- anywhere that you have open plains you can get tornadoes. There was one last week on the prairies, there will probably be more in the next few months. But we are fortunate in that they rarely hit populated (or heavily populated) areas.

Yes we do. Tornadoes are a regular occurance here in Ontario. We had two happen, in just the last month within 20 miles of where I live. I had one whip by my house a few years back. Earthquakes happen here as well, but are so minor, many don't even feel them. There's two fault lines under Lake Ontario, that generate the ones we have here in Toronto. I've only ever felt one in 42 years of living here.

I've never heard of an earthquake in Canada (though other users seem to have) but Saskatchewan has tornadoes every year. In 1996 my hometown of Saskatoon lost one of its two drive-in theatres to a tornado - a few hours before it was supposed to show Twister.

Canada has tornadoes yes. I'm from the city and we just get the tail end. Not bad like on the out skirts of the city.And we got the tail end of a earthquake once from Ohio. Nothing big though.

Yes, Southern Ontario is concidered to be the tip of Tornado Alley.

We have all the natural patterns the States have. Some more severe and some less severe. But basically weather wise were are practically the same in the same areas(ie. west coast, mid west, and east coast.)

Tornadoes at the instant are not great hassle-free, yet, they take place. the U. S. twister Alley in certainty extends into southern Ontario. And, they'd take place on the Prairies, while chilly air from the north hits warm air from the south. Earthquakes are hassle-free in some places. I lived on the Queen Charlottes (Haida Gwaii), and that they surpassed off rather lots each and daily, inspite of the certainty that too small to sense different places are lots extra good. i'm not sure approximately Toronto nevertheless.
