Interesting that you are calling salvation brainwashing.

What you may not understand, my dear, is that if you do not accept your salvation, you have effectively succumbed to brainwashing by God's enemy.

God does not brainwash. God expands the light of the mind when you ask him to enter your life.

Satan, on the other hand, is the one that dims the mind. Satan lets you believe that you are the smartest, most freethinking and liberated creature alive. Satan will give you anything you want, anything to keep you from Truth, which is salvation.

You might want to look into who is actually capturing human minds.

And you may even stumble upon the fact that Jesus is capturing human hearts, which is a much different thing.

God bless.

From an interview in the Spectator with the Rev. Keith Ward, a liberal British theologian:

‘Listen,’ he says kindly, ‘I think the sciences point very much to a religious basis. I’ve never met a world-class physicist who doesn’t think there’s more to the universe than just atoms bumping together, something mind-like at work, some intelligence. Even Einstein believed that. In the last 20 years, there has been an intellectual revolution in thinking in Britain. God has become an option again but it’s just that it hasn’t quite filtered down to everybody else yet.’
It’s like a reverse enlightenment, I think. The intellectuals are coming round to religion, leaving the masses under the dark cloud of reflex rationalism and neo-Darwinism.

God gave us the choice of accepting or not accepting. There is no brainwashing involved and nothing is being sold but the truth. I fully believe in the power of Jesus and the sacrifice he made for us. Think about it. Why would anyone endure the pain he suffered unless he truly loved us. I believe and hope you find the way to him and the truth.

2 Corinthians 4:4

4. The eyes of those who do not believe are made blind by Satan who is the god of this world. He does not want the light of the Good News to shine in their hearts. This Good News shines as the shining-greatness of Christ. Christ is as God is.

I LOVE JESUS CHRIST is that what you call brainwashing!
Than I gues im brainwashed ooooooooooooo!!!

I like to be brainwashed by Jesus. Not only my brain, but also from my head to my toes.

I haven't been brainwashed by Jesus, but Jesus did open my eyes, and cleansed my soul, and made me whole. Thank you Lord Jesus. Because if I am persecuted that means I am obeying God.

I have become one with the Creator of the Universe by receiving Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I know God as my Father who loved me and gave His life for me. I AM Heaven bound because I have been washed in the Blood of the Lamb!

Hear hear, Metacoma.

Jesus never intended for people to worship him. Only God. Nobody is worthy of our worship except God.

Jesus was a great prophet, NOT the son of God. God has no children, literally. But we are all his children in a spiritual way, it's true.

Poor Jesus, all his teachings have been distorted. *sigh*

It wasn't Jesus, it was the passing down of information that got all messed up. Jesus was an example to us as to what human beings are capable of. He never wanted to be worshiped and never meant for people to think of him as superior. But, people crop text, mis-interpret, and exaggerate. All we can do is find out what the true meanings are and always question things.
