In the Bible, Jesus says that "People will hate you, shut you out, insult you, and say you are evil because you follow the Son of God. But when they do, be happy. Be full of joy at that time, because you have a great reward waiting for you in heaven..." Luke 6:22-23. You will be blessed for putting up with it. You'll find that even though "Jesus Freaks" are made fun of, they don't really care. They have more to their lives than caring about what others think. It doesn't really matter to them, because they feel such fulfillment. Maybe you should try being a Jesus Freak sometime.

That's weird. Just because your a "Christian" doesn't mean your not normal. It's not like she has a sign that says, "I'm a christian". I am a christian, i am not weird. Maybe because Christians are happy people and they don't let stress and other things get to them, and they are the nicest people, so maybe people that aren't happy with their lives think she is weird or they are just jealous! If you believe in god and you pray and confess your sins, and give your life to Jesus, then you are a christian. I was born and raised a Christian, maybe i have not always gone to church until i got older but i have done things bad and have had regrets like any other normal christian, but i ask god for my forgiveness. So stick up for your gf!! Alot of famous people are Christians, and they are weird. I just think some people are evil maybe but those are the ones that will be very lonely in life.

Because schools are becoming more secular, which means in their view, it is okay to make fun of Christians. I assume you are a Christian in public school. It is tough. I was. Can you and your girlfriend see if there are other believers at school? Also, maybe you and your girlfriend could form a Bible Study so you don't feel so alone. At last resort, you could change schools. God Bless You.
Remember the Apostle Paul. He got stoned, with rocks, and left for dead for being a Christian. Acts 14.

we are to be interior the international yet no longer of it. Jesus went to all kinds of events and in all probability did dance at weddings, via fact that that grow to be the custom of the time. The religious leaders criticized Him heavily for this. using Him as an occasion, you may socialize, dance in a modest way, and characteristic a super time. yet are you able to think of Jesus grinding with somebody? there is a lot of astonishing dance strikes you may grasp without doing the grimy dancing that simulates the intercourse act. If uncertain, ask your self once you're comfortable doing a particular flow in front of Him. you may locate others admiring and copying your dance strikes in case you come back up with some athletic skillful ones. everyone can grind, yet no longer only all people can fairly dance!

I have seen many answers here to you initial question, but not many to you other question.
Say a prayer to the Lord believing that Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead for your sins. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and ask for forgiveness. Ask the Lord to come into your heart and be Lord of your life.
Welcome into the Body of Christ! You are now a son of God and joint heirs with Christ.
Get yourself into a bible based church and start reading the Bible. The Bible is the Word from God and is the "manual" for living here on earth and being a Christian.

in your life you will find that you will be made fun of at one time or another...usually for no real reason....people are not all good. all the time.....and some have such a low self esteem that they have to make others the butt of jokes or bring them into a bad light just so they can feel good about themselves or to get the attention off of them.....so knowing this...you will find there comes a time when you must learn to stand firm in your beliefs no matter how hard it is.....what ever it is that you choose to stand for in your life...there will always be someone who disagrees with you ...but as long as you know that you are not compromising who you are you will make it through all the hurtful words .....

Those are people who made fun of others due to their religious choices! How can you even hear them?
If your girlfriend, whether she's christian or an alien, is a nice person with strong believes, and they're are making fun of her, who is wrong?

Where do you live where the Christian population is not huge? Everyone faces adversity, if she cannot deal with it, she shouldn't expose her beliefs in public. As an atheist, I am often regarded as evil by some fundie Christians, but because I understand how pathetic they are, it no longer bothers me much.

It's because people fear what they don't understand, and it's easier to deal with that fear by mocking those who do understand. You sound young, but I can tell you that I have a 9-yr old and a 12-yr old, and they don't care what people think about their being a Christian. People made fun of Jesus - look what happened to them.

Because those people are just ignorant and unsaved. They are simply uninformed about the goodness of God. Why should u be concerned about people talking about u? People will talk all they want to- so don't stoop 2 their level. Continue respecting ur girlfriend- the others just need prayer.
