No i am not a nose picker, seriously, I think it is from deep breathing during my work out, in through the nose, out through the mouth. Now how can I get rid of them and orevent them from comming back? Usually i get them in winter when the heat is on and I find a humidifier works for that.

you may have a vitamin deficiency. plus you should rinse your sinuses after your work outs....you are probably picking up germs that are causing this.

Is it the kind of sore that feels
like a bad bruise or a pain in
side your nose?

I asked my Dr. about that and
he said to take just a tiny bit
of Vaseline and rub it on the
sore place and it would go away.

I thought that was ridiculous and
would never work on such
intense pain, but tried it anyway.

It does work. I put it on at
night after I washed my face,
and the very next morning
it was gone!!

Use a small amount of a topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin.

If the sores keep coming back see an ear, nose, and throat doctor.

And of course, don't put anything in your nose that doesn't belong there. ;-)

I would have said trying a humidifier, but you've got that one covered. Perhaps try drinking more water while working out. Or try working out somewhere a bit more humid.

If you smoke, that would make it much worse, as it also dries out your nose/throat.

There's not a lot else you can do about dryness.
