It depends what time you are fighting, if the fight is in the evening, you want to eat a normal breakfast (what you usually eat) and have your usual lunch, you don't want to mix it up too much because you don't want you stomach to get upset, with the nerves and all. Try to avoid greasy foods, they have a tendency to go right through you ask Roberto Duran. For dinner try not to eat anything "Heavy" foods that make you really full. Carbs are good but not too many. When I use to fight I use have this superstition, that I should only eat Menudo before each fight (mistake) all kinds of fighters eat various different things before they fight, It's important to eat what makes you comfortable and confident. Good Luck ad thanks for the question.

Ask a boxer, its up to the individual and the routine they get themselves into. A small meal and them a walk and talk with friends just to cut the edge of them and calm them down. Roberto Duran use to like long walks a day before the fight and get the focus off the fight.

A lot of the fight day preperation is personal preference, but most fighters that I know of follow some variation on this theme...
