But seriously, I think you should come clean. Tell her that you really like her, and weill take her to Cantonese restaurants any time she wants. Take up a Chinese cookery class if you are really into her, but it is not possible to become even a sous-chef in just one day.
If you lose her and her respect, take this as a lesson learned, and be truthful from now on.

ok...if you said you were a sous chef then i would imagine that you at least have some knowledge..you may be a line or prep cook i don't know.
but...i would suggest looking up some cantonese recipes and doing your best..either that or order out and say you did it.
if you dont know anything about cooking i dont know why you would lie.
