I guess if this person was my soulmate and I really felt a love for him that was stronger than anything I have ever felt then yes I would date him, but I would find out what things I could do to not get infected. A person usually catches the virus if they have open sores that come in contact with this person. There are plenty of people that have a spouse that is infected because of maybe blood transfusions that went wrong, and they go on to have kids with them and so on. I guess it boils down to what makes you feel comfortable.

Dating is not having SEX. So what do you believe about HIV/AIDS? It depends on you.

If you do, then set boundaries and understand that every relationship has "baggage" and this one has a "hazardous" one.

Be wise and be happy. This decision will effect your entire family and any future children. I think its okay, if your smart about it. I have known several mixed couples, it just ment that you need to plan better. Best wishes for you both.

I did. I responded to an personal ad and the woman listed herself as a PWA and I didn't know what that meant until I googled it. Still took her out and had some drinks and dinner. Took her for a nice walk later and she said how she missed this. It was a nice night for the both of us.

I would date them if they're health was good at the time, but nothing physical would happen for a long long time if at all. I would date them as i would a cancer patient.. knowing that i would probably lose them to illness
