If you had some yummy sweets that you couldn't bare to share would you eat them all in front of a friend or think it was rude to do so?

If they are a friend then it would be rude not to share them. They might have some yummy sweets of their own later and won't you miss out if they refused to share them with you!!
If you can't bear to share them the best thing is to wait until your friend has gone then tuck it.... that way there will be no ill feeling as the friend will be none the wiser.
Now, if they weren't friends then eat away in front of them. They will think you a selfish pig but who cares what they think... the yummy sweets are all yours... but remember to brush your teeth regularly before bedtime otherwise it won't take long for you to lose your teeth and then you will have to share them as you won't be able to manage the hard centres.
You will soon get bored of soft marshmallows....

If you had some yummy sweets what would be the harm in sharing a few of them with your friend?
The world provides enough for man but not for man's greed!
I think Gandhi said something along those lines.

I think it's rude to eat them in front of others and not offer them any, so if I really didn't want to share them I'd keep them till later and eat them when I'm alone.

Obviously it is highly rude to eat your sweets in front of anyone that you aren't willing to share with.

well, being such a naturally kind person (lol), I'd think i was just being plain greedy and selfish to do so, and probably at least spare them one.
But on the other hand . . . .
they are YOUR sweets, so whether you want to share them or not,is your decision .

A 'friend' at school used to lick every sweet so that we wouldn't ask him...What a greedy boy that John Prescott was!!!

probably eat them all. i like to be generous sometimes but there's no obligation to share.
