I would like to stay where I am in Northern Ireland, however I have to say Las Vegas is the only other place in the world that I have ever visited and said I would like to stay.
I cant help thinking that Vegas is past its glory days though,it must have been some place in the 60's and early 70's with The Rat Pack,Elvis and Ali fights etc-it is still a very exciting place to be but nowhere beats home.
Good luck in Vegas !

Anywhere in the world? - on my ocean-going motor yacht anchored somewhere in the seychelles.

I live not too far from your home town - haven't been to Alaska, but have been to Siberia (in January). Daytime temperatures never rose above -35o, the buses (in Irkutsk) had no brakes - they take the brakes off the buses in October - April because the streets are several Metres deep in Ice. At night when the park the buses up in the garage, they light bonfires under the fuel tank and under the engine to stop the engines seizing.

I don't think you'd like to live permanently in conditions like that every year.

Deptford to Nevada? Surreal!! Alaska might be a wee bit cold, though! I wouldn't mind southern France.
Crispy...you're a card - whoever would want to live in Sheffield-by-the-Sea (apart from people age 70 and older!!)?

Personally I would like to live just about anywhere that moved at a slower pace where people were friendlier with each other, and where there was room to stretch out and not feel like a sardine in a can if it's rush hour or not.

Someplace with full seasons, and certainly somewhere with flowers, plants, trees, animals, rivers, and the beauty of nature...ideally right off my front porch.

Somewhere in India - either in the mountains - Srinagar, or by the sea - Pondicherry. I'm living in Switzerland at the moment - no sea but plenty of mountains - just a bit too ordered. I like the unexpected.

Well outside of the US: London England, or a tropical island and within the US: Los Angeles (certain sections), NYC, and most major US cities I would consider.

Under the sea, in an octopus's garden in the shade. Failing that, Brisbane in Oz looks like a fantastic place to live.
