any ideas on how to develop that theme

that's cute...maybe start a list of words you would associate with a photo and build on it until there are 2007...use a unique font for the theme and then using that font place them all thru the yearbook...maybe at the end do: Freshmen year new wardrobe $250 Sophomore year homecoming dance $350 Junior year prom $650 2007 Senior year memories PRICELESS!

have pictures of people and around the school made in 2007 you know like those things in Disneyland where thousands of different pictures will make up Micky mouse.

Take lots of candid photos and see which are the most unusual, then have other students submit quotes based on the picture.

maybe you could incoporate the "words" idea by using significant news articles (maybe from your school newspaper?) from the last year as page backgrounds. You wouldn't have to be able to read the articles, but try to make it so readers can tell what news story each represents.

find 2007 words, broken up into different categories, such as school related, current trends & pop culture, academic related, future plans, etc.

It's a pretty generic theme, don't you think? Just have pictures. It's for the class of 2007... duh.
