I have been single for quite some time, I meet a lot of guys but none of them seem all that interested in dating. However they do not mind the "hook-up" if that was what I would be interested in. I do not understand this, I see my friends in their relationships with their guys and wonder if I am just not that lucky or if there is something wrong here or are guys now a days more concerned with playing the field then having a solid relationship? Any Ideas?

Probably you don't see yourself "date-able", or you don't show it. Once, I asked my best (male) friend the same question: "Why are my friends in relationships and not me??".

He told me: you need to want a relationship, then, you will have a relationship.

That's it!!

My b/f was one of those guys. I have heard too many stories of girls in his past. But when we met, things took a different road. I guess there is just some point when they decide that they don't want that anymore. He's over 30, so there's really no telling when it will happen for every guy.

unfortunately in today's world it's all about how you look. If you have a bit of weight, or you're not as pretty; or you smell or look bad; the guys will not want to date you. however, if you're willing to put out they'll come around for a f--k. i don't agree but that's just the way it is sometimes....

I only do date-able women.
