Honesty if the best policy. Wouldn't you want to know if you were cheated on???

I haven't ever cheated. It depends if you want to keep the relationship with him you have to be honest though don't expect him to take you back if you do tell him. Do be honest with him everyone deserves that in a relationship. Explain to him why you did it, what your motives were. All you can do is hope for the best after you tell him. If you really are sorry and mean it prove it to him by actions by never doing it again if you do get a second chance. I think most people prefer brutal honesty that hurts than lying any day. That's just me though. Why did you cheat on him in the first place?

I have never cheated! Goes against my morals. I would tell you to tell him if you plan on being with him in serious relationship. He deserves to know just as you would if it were the other way around. But since you cheated maybe you don't have true feelings for him and should just move on and find someone whom you really care for and wont cheat on. Good Luck!

Never cheated, I would tell him you need to try and make things right so you need to be open and honest about your cheating.

i have been the cheated partner. telling them serves no real purpose but to atone your own guilt.

so my advice is; if it was a fling and it's over keep your mouth shut.

You tell him and consider who you want to be from now on. You don't have the right to continue this relationship when he doesn't have all the facts, its just another wrong.
