ive dyed my hair since i was 15 and my friend is a hairdresser yes you can colour it brown as soon as you like and nothing should go wrong if you read the instuctions. i had blonde highlights put in and the roots started to come through so i just bought bella colour 110 and put it on and i got my blonde highlights back and the rest ov my hair stayed brown, thats just 1 eg ov what ive done to my hair.

The best thing for you to do is go to a professional. The professional will be able to tell you what type of dye you need in order for you hair not to change to a weird color, unless you want to go pink, or better yet orange. You need the advice of a professional. It shouldn’t matter how long you weight before you dye it again, just as long as you let someone else, a professional, do it.

hi there.

when you dyed your hair you are meant to wait for the colour to settle etc. highlighting straight after this (and probably not washing it out fully) meant your highlights went wrong. (but you can get special colour kits where you can do it straigh after) if you want to dye over red (you said the highlights went red) you need to go a dark brown and even then you may get to see where the highlights were as they can be a different shade. if i were you i would go to an hairdresser and get her to strip the colour so you can start over...or even get her to put a colour on...they are expensive but the best way to do it really.

I would advise you to go to a professional! It will cost you a bit but it will sort out the mess! You shouldn't have highlighted it straight after dyeing it! If you dye it again yourself you will probably make it worse!

You Can die your hair 3 hours after the first time but also take a strand of hair and do a test to see if its the colour you want

you can dye straight over it, but unless you get it done professionally it could come out uneven still and might not completely cover the red bits!

i would go to a professional for help, but if you cant afford to there should be a 1800 number on the product box you used, try giving them a call, maybe they can help

"i have a really big problem?"

No you don't. If your house burned down or you got AIDS you would "have a really big problem." What you have is an inconvenience. Get over it.

I thought maybe I could help someone with "a really big problem". I should have noticed it was categorized in "Hair." Sorry I clicked.

Just put some bengay and rub it into your hair. leave it in for an hour and rinse. Really it works i always dye my hair. If it turns out bad i just have bengay at my side.
