What does that have to do with your religion? You're just learning about it, it's not like you're participating. It's not that big of a deal.

Of course it is not wrong. Why would you think such a thing? Did someone with no common sense tell you it was wrong? The most important thing that you can get from those films is how to protect yourself from dieing. If you want to wait until marriage to have sex, that is great. But if you did, you would be in the minority. Most teenagers experiment with sex! Period. Learning about birth control in a school environment is so much better than learning about it when it is too late. Cmon, they do not show sex the way a porno shows sex. Your are going to give the religious fanatics on here a heart attack, some may even turn to stone just reading about sex. You know that no one needs a video to start thinking about sex, its never far from a teenagers mind anyway. Think for yourself, sweetie, and use the common sense that God gave you.

The superficial answer to your question is No. The deeper question one needs to ask oneself, is why am I watching the movie. Learning about sex, how to protect oneself (and God's temple (our body) is not wrong. Even later in life, when you are presumably married; watching a movie that shows certain scenes, that demonstrate something you did not know about, is not sinful. ( After all, we are to serve others, (our mate)).
Yes, lusting after someone else (other than our spouse is sinful).
Yes fornication and adultery are sinful. It is our own attitude (why)that may decide whether it is a sin or not.
Example (Biblical); When Bathsheba met David one occasion; apparently they had sex. David was blamed. And even had Bathsheba's husband killed. Under Jewish law; if someone was guilty of adultery; the man and woman were to be stoned. However, David and Bathsheba were not stoned. Was it related to the fact that people were to obey the king over them.(Deut. 17).
Perhaps I am naive, but do guys (such as King David) ever ask gals (such as Bathsheba) for something in the sexual area?
Instead of having kings presently in this country; do we have the 'higher authorities'?

Any sex ed in the average high school has no videos of people having sex, and maybe only a brief, non-sexual one of a woman giving birth. I can't imagine why things nearly everyone goes through would be wrong to learn about. Just because your religion makes sex seem like a sin, it isn't.

It's a question of the heart. The intention of the video is educational, but if you are feeling convicted or uncomfortable then perhaps you can be excused from watching it? If it's required, then you don't have to feel like you are doing something wrong. Especially when it's providing information about making and having babies and STDs. If it's showing anything other than that, I would not watch it.

No its not wrong (if you are in your teens). Just remember you will have to take part in this act at some point in your life. So its good to know the safe way of sexual education.

NO ... God created sex as the way to reproduce and you need to be informed about this part of the body and to know all the hygiene and health concerns... some day you will probably want to have children and you need to know the anatomy and more so you can make informed decisions.

educational videos are not lurid they are merely as factual as possible intended to dispell the many myths one can pick up along the way

no it is not wrong to watch them. Sex was created by god For mankind to reproduce. God himself said go forth and multiply. and once it takes place in the union of holy martimony (between married people) its a beautiful act. Nothing is wrong with you learning about it. You should discuss it with your parents.

I see nothing wrong with getting good information...but watching this video is questionable.

I would talk w/ your parents and get their take on it.

Blessings!

Of course not. Everyone needs to know how it works. I presume that you intend to have children one day, enjoy sex with a spouse, and would prefer to avoid sexually transmitted diseases.

How do you feel about it in your heart? Ask your parents about it.
I wouldn't like my kids seeing that sort of stuff. I think it is wrong for them to be showing things like this, especially without parental consent.
