A couple of tips for you: (1) Early evening exercise is actually better for you than early morning exercise because you have cortisol build-up from sleeping, which makes your workout less effective. (2) If you eat before you work out, give yourself at least 2 hours before you work out. (3) If your goal is to gain muscle mass, you DEFINITELY want to eat immediately after working out. (4) If you're trying to lose weight, eating after you work out is not "bad for you" in any way as long as you don't stuff yourself.

I've been told on seperate occasions you should eat before and after, as long as you aren't eating after 7 PM. A snack, like an apple, pear, orange, or maybe an energy bar before working out, with fluids at least 15 minutes before you begin you work out.
Then, depending on your diet, a meal afterwards, but not too big, maybe a small meal, with plenty of fluids, and even a protein shake, to help with the healing of you muscles.

it depends on if you are trying to loose weight or gain muscle mass. If you are trying to loose weight then eat before and drink lots of water after you work out. Don't eat the first hour after. Then after eat healthy... If you are trying to build muscle mass eat light afterwards but some healthy protein, like a protein shake, etc.

Before. And allow some time for your food to digest before exercising.

Eat first, then go burn the calories. Try not to eat within 3 hours of bedtime.
