i live with my parents in a flat on the first floor. i like the guy that lives in the next entrance of our house. he's never seen me and doesn't know. whole my family knows his family, but nobody knows his name, and my family doesn't talk much to his parents. i've noticed him because he keeps leaving his car in front of my window. should i do anything? in russia it's not often when girls come up first. what do you think should be done not only by me, but also maybe by somebody else. well, give an advice. And what should i do or say so that he likes me? P.S. he's 20, i'm 18.the point is that it's russia, it's not usual here for girls to make the first move. and also, how should a girl behave in the conversation with a man?

Be yourself, and girls do approach guys here. Just don't be to aggressive maybe suggestive. Plus you can use that when you approach him. Let him know that is what you do because you are Russian, never try to be anything but yourself. Never forget where you come from, I think it's sexy. Good luck.

If your parents know his family, can they invite them all over for a social event so you could meet this boy? Maybe the two mothers would be willing to introduce the two of you. Does he have a regular schedule? If you know when he comes and goes then maybe you could sit outside and read a book or something. Smile and wave when he comes home. Is it ok for a young woman to say hello to a neighbor when he goes into his house, even if she does not know him?

No matter the country, the way to a man's heart is still through his stomach! Make a cake or some cookies, leave them at his door with a note and let him make the next move.

Just because it's not usual for girls to make the first move doesn't mean that you can't.
If you're interested in him then strike up a conversation. Introduce yourself and go from there.
Keep in mind though there's no guarantee that he's going to like you but it never hurts to try.

Why get involved? You are 18 years old. Chances are that you will be moving to New Jersey soon to work as an exotic dancer.
Plenty of time to think about love when you get back.

Maybe he's parking his car there to get your attention. If you catch him outside sometime just introduce yourself...make a comment about liking his car, or something, to start a conversation. Good luck!

Just relax, and go over and introduce your self to him. Say something like you live next door and youve seen him around but never had the chance to introduce your self properly.

First thing you might want to do is to...let him see you maybe...? Get outside, pretend to be doing something in the yard, anything for him to see you! How can you expect him to notice you and try something when he doesn't even know you exist?

First move in a relationship? or in general. I dont see why if just meeting him as a neighbor should matter who makes the first move.

Well for you, try just bumping into him; try to make it look as if it was an accident and if that dont work, then just try to find out his interests so he can try to invite somewhere to an event or grab bite or something
