u don't need one.. u only need glasses for near vision because ur eye loses the power to accomodate near vision due 2 ur age. if u wanna have LASIK go 2 an Ophthalmologist 2 help u decide. i had it like 2 years ago & i'm happy with the results but i'm only 24.

The eye surgery which allows people to stop wearing glasses does require more than one surgery in some people. My husband looked into getting rid of the glasses thru this surgery but opted to stay in glasses because the surgery is so expensive & may need to be repeated.

I would think seriously about having it done. There is always a risk when you go under the knife. You have one pair of eyes and I say: "What is wrong with wearing glasses?"

Absolutely nothing. Be careful and check it out very carefully before you make a decision one way or the other.

If your eyes are not seriously impaired then you shouldn't have the surgery. Six thousand dollars is a lot of money. It's not like you have to wear the glasses all day long.

You can come to a decision ONLY after consulting with your ophthalmologist!! People on this site do not have the experience, training, or knowledge to answer you correctly. You are talking about your EYES!! Not a bone chip in your elbow!! Get professional advice!!

Yeah, if you have $6,000 laying around. Health insurance usually will not cover the surgery.

it's up to you. it's apparently pretty safe now and if you have trouble at night I would definitely think about doing it. bad things can happen at night when you can't see everything.
then again, some things at night you want to miss. Heh!

consult your doctor. But if I were you and given the option, I'd rather use glasses or lenses.
