get rid of the food first place it in a bag and toss it ASAP!, open up all your windows/doors let the place air out, then clean out your oven (spray), then febreze the heck out of your place. Good luck!

Boil water to clean the air. If it still doesn't go away, vacuuming and washing the floors will help. Open all the windows. Wow the pan was in the oven that whole time? That sounds like something I'd do.

Open all the windows and air the place out. Make sure you chuck the meat out into an outside bin... and next time write yourself a reminder note or something :-)

first of all you have to eat all of the meat, so that it doesn't continue to smell. Then open all the windows and the doors, to let the air move out of the house. Then get your cat or a neighbors cat, and set it on fire. Trust me it's better than lighting a match. After the cat extinguishes itself, then eat the cat. There's no smell worse than rotten cat carcass. Then get on yahoo answers and go to the correct forum and ask why am I so stupid!!

Clean the oven with oven cleaner first. Then wipe it down with vinegar, and then spray lysol, followed by a mixture of essential oils (like rose oil or mint oil) mixed with water, all over the house.
Nasty !!!

Open windows and doors, grab a few fans and set them on high to circulate around and out. Also try different air fresheners such as "Oust" or other oder killing solutions.

I heard that vinegar will absorb the smell instead of masking it. You can try placing some in bowls or cups throughout the house.
