1) check out the universal studios hollywood. 2) the j paul getty center. this museum has an extensive collection of art that you will never see anywhere else, 3)Chinatown, 4)the hollywood walk of fame, 5) the farmers market

Ok Depends on what you are looking for and where you coming from... If you are an East Coaster... I would suggest the trying the Mexican food have a lot of cool places to try but La Golondrina in Olvera St is my favorite But there are tons of places just not knowing what you are looking for make it difficult to say what you should go out and do.
