Human beings are the most intelligent beings on planet Earth. If proof of God was "creation" why aren't 100% of human beings on Earth believers in God?

because god is not logical and makes no sense. I still believe in God, but I totally understand why one wouldn't.

What proof? Do you really believe that a breathing human had the intelligence to make a plant when man can't even find a cure for Cancer? I think that intelligent people don't believe in something that you can't see or touch. There is no way I can believe that there is something called a God. If there was such a good God we would live in a Utopia, there would be no war, hatred, violence or illness. I hate when people say "God had a reason, or God had a plan" I am sure God had a plan when my Baby died, or when I was watching my parents suffer and die from cancer. That sure was a nice plan, with a God like that I will do without thank you.
How long ago was the Bible written? and you wanna believe in it, look at it this way, over 100 years many people couldn't read or write let alone know what STD's was, so how could the Bible be written so long ago supposedly with great intelligence but people believed the world was flat.
There is no proof there is a God there is proof that people can be led around by their nose like sheep and forced to believe in something that there is no proof of.
They only proof of anything I have ever seen is the devil, and they are walking around all over the world killing people causing war and devastation. If there are Gods then they are the people who live sin free and show care love to others around them. But one being a God? Get a life and save your tithe money.

GOD says in his holy book that there is nothing more easier for him than to make us all believers ..but we have brains responsible for our actions which we will be questioned about in dooms day ..so who believes in god = uses his brain which god has given him deserves his paradise..got it?

*Is There a God?
Does the Universe exist?

The best proof for the existence of God is our own existence, rather the existence of the universe.

If we believe that the universe exists, we must accept basically one of the three positions:

That the universe was created, or
That it was not created, but it has existed on its own from the “beginning”, or
That it was neither created, nor has it existed from the beginning, but it came into being on its own in a process of evolution.
If we believe 1, that the universe was created, then the question “Who created it?” arises. The answer is God.

If we believe 2, that the universe has existed on its own from “the beginning”, then we have to accept the idea of the existence of anyone on their own from “the beginning”. So we cannot rule out the existence of God from “the beginning”.

If we believe 3, that the universe is the result of a process of evolution, then we must presume that this evolution was a random one and that there was no plan or purpose behind this evolution, that is, if we want to deny the existence of God. Or we can hold the view that the process of evolution was not random and it had a plan behind it.

The Universe Is a Cosmos and Not a Chaos

If we open our eyes and observe carefully the phenomena of nature, we see a regularity and order in all things; for instance, in the rising and the setting of the sun, the waxing and the waning of the moon, and the change of seasons, etc. We see the same regularity in the birth, growth and decay of plants and animals. In short we can very clearly observe that everything in nature follows an order/pattern. This naturally requires a schedule or a plan behind it. But if there is a plan, won’t there be a planner? Our reason tells us and our experience teaches us that a plan can come only out of intelligence. And if so, how can we look at the grand design of the universe, the unerring order and pattern in nature and say that these are mere coincidences? In a world of random events, the sun can suddenly go out of its orbit and fly off at a tangent and the seas can become boiling acids. There will be no law; no order.

But ours is a Universe of Order, it is a Cosmos and not a chaos. Unless there is a reliable order, or a predictability and stability (instead of randomness) of laws governing the working of the Universe, how can scientists do experiments and discover what they call Laws of Nature or Laws of Science?

The foregoing considerations evidently lead us to the conclusion that behind the operations of this universe there is a grand design or plan which must have necessarily come out of a tremendous intelligence and vision which transcends and comprehends all the spheres of our knowledge, understanding and experience.

Furthermore, we find that the unity and the uniformity of the Laws of Nature unerringly point to the Unity of the Power behind the universe too.

Good question. Deep. Hope you get some deep answers!

I feel that is would be our subjective perceptions aided by our societal filters. From the time we are born and look at the sky, the land, the oceans, the wonders all around...we are being programmed. Bottom line...the brain is a computer...what you program in...you get out. Some of us escape our programming....to a degree, some of us do not. Many of us are told that god made the world from infancy. But, more importantly I believe that we are taught not to trust ourselves. Our own feelings are made bad, our own perceptions are made dangerous. So we go with the flow. However, there are those of us that have escaped the cycle, looked beyond the mortal veil of fear to see the true wonder of the world and boldy claim "I don't know YET".

some thing exciting with regard to the atom: do no longer understand no be counted in case you have stumbled around the size concern in Quantum Physics, besides the shown fact that it fairly is fairly beautiful. you notice an atom is pervasive; that's everywhere and each little thing, unfolded in all places *till* a wakeful observer makes the call to diploma it. If only wakeful beings could be observers, then we are intimately hooked into the very existence of actuality; for this reason without our existence, there could only be an ever increasing great place of opportunities with no longer something sure ever occurring. i do no longer understand the way it could artwork with a metaphysical entity; besides the shown fact that, i think of the thought God (you have used a capital 'G' so i assume you're speaking with regard to the Christian God) can't see us form of conflicts with the classic view that God governs your existence and supposedly "guides" you, for this reason in case you commit a sin he's often there for forgiveness; in case you do no longer understand what to do, he's there to wish to. Atleast, i think of that's the assumption.

We live in a post-modern era where scientific proof is man's God. We are such vain creatures believing that we can somehow determine true. Since the beginning satan tempted Eva in the garden with the promise of her becoming like God. Man has not changed continues in that vain pursuit. If anyone cannot humble themselves enough to recognize the complexity of creation design, they are placing themselves higher tahn God.

God is our creater and that is a fact. Why don't 100% of people believe in God? I don't think you can get 100% of people to believe in anything. Someone always has a slightly different perspective. What it comes down to is faith. Many people including one of Christ's disciples, take the attitude of if I can't see it or rationalize it then I can't believe it. Take Thomas for example, on of Jesus's disciples. As qouted in John 20:25 Thomas says, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." Well Thomas got his wish because Jesus appeared again and in John:20 28 Thomas calls Him, "My Lord and my God." Jesus repies in John 20:29, and I believe this answers your question, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who who have not seen and yet have believed."

Simply because there are other valid theories aside from the theory of creation. We are individuals with each of us having a unique perspective. We each believe a little differently so no one will ever be 100% in the exact same belief.

Because science has explained some things (not all) that were originally attributed to "god". If some things we thought were "god" were actually not...why wouldn't we wonder if ANY of it was "god".
Experience here on yahoo answers has told me that examples would be pointless. People who don't want to believe will find reasons not to. Human nature =) We all do it.

People don't believe proof sometimes.

While human beings exhibit the highest intelligence, this doesn't mean that all human beings are smart.

Intelligence in terms of sentience and aptitude is different than intelligence in terms of critical analysis.

But any intelligent person would understand this difference outright.

Because there is no proof of "creation" nor there is proof of a god. The only source of "proof" that religious people have is a book that was written by men long ago (before any modern knowledge of how the world works).
