The chicken because God made all animals. Including chickens. And chickens lay eggs and the eggs turn into chickens then the chickens lay eggs then the egg turns into a chicken....OH I can go on ALL day!

Obviously, the egg. Here's why. If you believe in the theoy of evolution, the soon to be chicken was developed over many generations of change in a particular type of avian fowl. In order to reach the end product (the true chicken), it would have to born of an egg laid by the previous fowl (not a true chicken) in the line of evolution. Thus, the egg was lain, and hatched into the current variety of fowl, aka, the chicken. Hope thats not too confusing. Peace, Love, and as always, be Groovy!

The egg. Before there was a chicken, dinosaurs and even fish and amphibians before them already laid eggs. One day, the egg cracked open to reveal a chicken. That's evolution in a nutshell. Or should I say eggshell...

The evolutionist will say they evolved so it doesn't matter. The rooster and hen came first. Takes both to produce the egg and the right amount of warmth for the fertilized egg to hatch.
