I think you might have missed the Christian prejudice against other beliefs, as seen on Yahoo Answers.

When's the last time you bashed a Muslim because some of them are terrorists? But forget Tim McViegh was Christian.

I think you need to read a history book.

Were not the lynchings in the south commited by a white religous group (KKK)? They claim they are followintg Gods word

Was Hitler not an Orthodox?

Racist people are just that - racist

Some claim to follow god's word - some claims that blacks are fallin angels - some claim that jews killed jesus.

My opinion is that racists are under educated populus that have been neglected by the goverment - their families & most likely cannot read or think freely.

There was a question i answered earlier about Jews getting their own classification as non-humans... It was offensive & un-justified but it also proves that a lack of tolerance & education provides a high amount of ignorance in the world.

This question is just like asking if all Christians are blue eyed or all Wicans having brown hair. Some many be, but having that characteristic or in you question those (ignorant) ideals does not define that person to be a specific ideology. If a person in racist and a Christian, it is true that they are not following the word of God. But look at the huge debate over same sex couples. Both are people hating other people for things that they can not change.

To be a racist is to contradict the word of God. However that is not the same as saying that someone who is a racist doesn't believe in God. A racist may well believe in God. The most evil people the world has produced believed in God and it made them worse instead of better.

I do not think all people who are racist consider themselves non-Christian. I believe it is more about being misinformed. If you take enough time to really read and research the bible you will find blacks, chinese, etc. as people held in high esteem. ConsiderNumber 12:1- Moses' family was giving him greif for marrying outside his race and GOD came down and rebuked them and made Miriam leave the camp for 6 days. Moses was a Levite and his wife Tzipporah was a Cushite, which if you look up the arear they came from was ethiopia and the vast majority of them are black. All God said specificall in relation to marriage was that it should be between a man and a woman who are equally yolked...not same color. Therefore who am I to worry about anyone's skin color? you do not get to choose what color your parents are and it should not be a hindrence or relection of your ability to perform a useful service to society.

People seems to have this impression that most Christians think they are perfect - and I'm not saying some don't think that.
But everyone is a sinner - some may be racist, some may be alcoholics, but do they try to seek God for those downfalls and have Him convict them of those feelings.
Just just my honest opinon.

Racism is ignorance, not directly related to religion. It just denies that we are all the same people.

You are correct, the word of God does not see a difference among the races.

Romans 3:22
This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,

Romans 10:12
For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,

Apart from race, however, one must acknowledge the differences in culture and that cultures are not all compatible.

The answer is not necessarily -- but perhaps god fearing Caucasian persons from the Southern part of the USA can talk more knowledgeably about this ? After all most of them fought the civil rights movement tooth and nail!

Which god? Not that anyone could possibly follow all the rules set forth in the bible. You have a computer, that's not following the word of god either. You're supposed to give up all your possessions.
