Well, it's not the most polite thing in the world. But if you only have the one bathroom and are using it to relax in a bath and luxuriate for a long time and he is in desperate need to relieve himself, what other option does he have but to use the bathroom too? In those instances, pull the shower curtain and turn up the radio or plug your ears...
If it's not a case where there is no other bathroom available, you may just need to let him know that you aren't so comfortable sharing that kind of intimate moment with him and ask that he use the other bathroom instead.
If you do only have the one bathroom, I'd suggest that the next time you go to take a bath that you ask him if he needs to use the bathroom before you tie it up for a while which might eliminate or reduce the possibility of being disturbed.

It depends on whether that would bother her. Everyone is different. I don't mind my husband using the toilet when I'm taking a bath, but I suppose some women would mind it. If you're not sure how your wife feels about it, just ask her.

He might desire some professional help on that one!

Nope, as long as the toilet is in another bathroom. It really does boil down to how the wife feels about it, but as a general rule a husband should not even enter the bathroom where his wife is bathing or showering without knocking first, and if he needs to visit the porcelain he really should go elsewhere.

Think of it the other way round and ask yourself: Is it rude for the wife to enter the bathroom for a pee when the husband is already in there doing something. Plus, where are the bathroom locks?!

Yes.
1) It is rude to relieve ones self in front of others without their permission.
2) It is rude to interrupt a person's bath... the whole point of a bath is to relax and be alone for a few minutes.

Absolutely disgusting!! Some of my friends do this and I just cannot understand why - what about keeping the mystique alive, there are some things that should be done in private, toilet use being one of them. Each to their own, but this is a no go area in my house.

It`s different for everyone.
But it depends if there is only one bathroom in the house. It wouldn`t be very nice to make him hold it while the wife relaxes in the bath (Unless it`s a #2.No #2s, thats kinda rude)

If it's the only bathroom in house, then No it would not be rude. If you have to relieve yourself, just step to the door, and say Dear, is it okay if I come in and use the restroom?
At least you will be considering her feelings, and if she don't like it, she can always pull the shower curtain.
