i live with my parents in a flat on the first floor. i like the guy that lives in the next entrance of our house. he's never seen me and doesn't know. whole my family knows his family, but nobody knows his name, and my family doesn't talk much to his parents. i've noticed him because he keeps leaving his car in front of my window. should i do anything? in russia it's not often when girls come up first. what do you think should be done not only by me, but also maybe by somebody else. well, give an advice. And what should i do or say so that he likes me? P.S. he's 20, i'm 18.

OK, so just to be sure I have this straight- you are the girl, he lives next door, and there is nobody suitable to introduce the 2 of you?
If that's correct, here are some suggestions:
Does he come home at the same time every day?
You may want to accidental/on purpose bump into him and introduce yourself. If he's new to the neighborhood maybe give him some nice treat, cookies, cake, whatever, and say that you had noticed him and just wanted to introduce yourself.
Just keep it simple.
If you'd like to have a little more of a conversation starter, find out some stuff about his car. That's how you noticed him right? Get the make and model and enter it into to google (or any search engine) and find out some details.
Or, if all else fails, since you said he parks outside your window, next time you see him, launch something out the window so he looks up.

There are lots of things you can do that will not make you look like you are doing the first move. First, you know what time he comes home, so be outside, or just pretend that you are going out when he's already out there parking his car. I f he hasn't seen you how would you know if there's a chance that he will like you. Now, if he saw you and didn't start a conversation with you or at least smile and stop to spend 5 minutes of his time with you, then it's time to move on. I am a firm believer that if a relationship is not meant to be, it will not happen. IT is different when you are at work or when you are in the same school where you see each other a lot, you have time to impress him with your brain or your talents but in situations like that, physical attraction plays a very important role. I'm sure you are attracted to him, your challenge now is for you to find out if he feels the same. So make yourself beautiful and go out there and show yourself. Good luck.

first, get yourself noticed. when he's outside make an excuse for you to go outside. if you have a car, pretend your going to get something in the trunk. see if he looks or make eye contact. smile and wave. he may just come up to you at this point. if not, he may be shy. do it again a couple days later and after making eye contact say hi instead and say something about his car or his clothes or something about him. this will make him realize that you notice him. if he doesn't get the point, just start talking and see how it goes from there.

As a rule of thumb, i never get involved with neighbors. if things go bad, you still have to live near them and that could get bad if you or he starts dating someone else.

flirt with him and see if he plays along. Tell him you'd like to hang out with him. If you see something you want, you must go for it. Don't wait for it to come to you.
