It's miserable! It should grow back pretty quick but I can say I did it once and will never do that again!

Oh, that is the worst (and totally normal)! Give it about a week to at least feel a bit softer- resist the urge to keep shaving- it will only get worse, not to mention the nasty razor burn and ingrown hairs. Sigh. The best way to deal with hair "down there" is to have it waxed. It seems scary, but once you've done it the first time, it's really not that bad and it stays nicer longer than shaving. Plus, when the hairs grow back in, they are actually finer than before, not coarser, like with shaving. Some more hard- earned advice: don't try to wax it yourself. OUCH!

If you are going to shave down there, you might want to use a beard and mustache trimmer. It will shave close enough for you to feel very clean when you wash and it will result in fewer or no ingrown hairs. When it grows back, it will be the same as before you shaved. How long it will take depends on how fast your hair grows down there - could be pretty fast.

Nair is not supposed to be used in that area - only on the bikini line.

You are going to be itchy. Don't shave anymore...(cancel your date lol) Next time go to a salon and ask for a brazillian bikini wax. It will grow in softer because it isn't hacked off at the skins surface. Not only will it grow in softer it lasts way longer... up to a month and a half before you need to do it again. That depends on how fast your hair grows...(might still itch though).

Wax for the best results, it is more painful but it stays smoother longer. If you shave, let the stubble grow in for an extra day before shaving again to prevent pimples and ingrown hair.

use shaving cream and then put alcohol or after shave to keep it from itching... as it grows back it will feel like a face until it grows back out... u could continue to shave it so u don't feel it...

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

don't shave. try to wax or use something like nair. it's gonna itch when it grows back, and the stubble is a pain.
