Puggles are mixes between a Pug and a Beagle.
We aren't looking for any particular colors, just a cute dog.

If all you want is a "cute dog", you'd be much better off going with a purebred. Have you looked at Norfolk or Norwich Terriers? I think they're adorable. Also, Dandie Dinmont (Terriers?) are cute. Purebred Pugs are wonderful, and even Corgi's are pretty cute.

You obviously realize that a "Puggle" is a mixed breed. Although they may be cute, they're not worth the money you would spend on the "designer dogs" that are in fashoin right now. If you're willing to have a mix, check out your local animal shelter. The dogs there all need wonderful loving homes, and you can feel good knowing that not only did you give a dog a home, but you didn't contribute the overpopulation of dogs by supporting backyard breeders or puppy mills.

Beagles are not for everyone!!!!!! They run, dig, bark, howl, and can be hard to train. Make sure you can live with all of those before you get a Puggle. Many people who get them would never get a Beagle, but still get a Puggle. Stupid. Do not be scammed by the "breeder" telling you Puggles have the best of both breeds because that is NOT true!!!!!!!! And they do SHED!!! Beagles can shed a TON and Pugs shed. So Puggles will shed also. And do not think they will be free of health problems either. They will actually be prone to all the health problems carried by the Pug AND the Beagle. No guarantee on size or looks either.
I hope you would not pay more than $100, shots and worming included. It is sad that MUTTS are being mass produced for profit!!!!

Are you considering the carpet cleaning cost because pugs almost never housebreak. Or the bills for getting them out of the pound because beagles don't come when called? People used to give these accidents away but if you call it some thing cute and give it a huge price tag it must be worth it. Gee want a seven inch long french fry on ebay?

I'm sorry to be some one else sniping over a simple question but I don't understand shelling out a ton of money for what is a mutt no matter how cute. There are so many waiting to be adopted even puppies then you can give it any breed name you want and every one will want one.

If you just want a cute, small dog, use http://www.petfinder.org and search for adoptable dogs in your area. Puggles are not an actual breed of dog and one "puggle" may look and behave totally different from another. Puggles are never bred by reputible breeders. They are very "in" right now (for some reason that I can't fathom) so most people breeding them right now are ONLY in it for the money, not because they like dogs particularily. Don't support these people purposefully making mutts and selling them for $$$ when there are already mutts-a-plenty in your local shelter looking for a home.

these are cross bred dogs and should really only sell for the cost of a vaccination.. however most people who bred mutts intentionally are unethical and charge more than the pup is worth

a pup with no vaccinations and no vet check is worth $0 regardless of the breed

a purebred is worth more IF the breeder has shown the parents to prove they are producing good pups and the pup is vet check and vaccinated - MUTTS of any cross are not worth the same because the parents are obviously LOW QUALITY - if they were high quality they would be breeding purebreds...

so your answer is "What they sell for and what they are worth are 2 different things.. they are worth the cost of the vaccination (already given) but are often sold for more because uneducated people are suckered into buying gimmick pets."

They are called a Puggle and they will cost more since that is a new breed. We paid $500 USD for our Miniature Schnauzer. Great dogs.
