Tzelem, That assurance that God has not left you or forsaken you is personal encouragement. Just thank God for forgiving you for your sins & that you can come boldly before Him 24/7 because of the Blood of the Lamb.

I am not forgotten...
I had been reading in Luke 12 and was encouraged when Jesus said, "...my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell.. Yes, I tell you, fear him. Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Dont' be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."
This encourages me because of all the chaos in the world right now. If by chance we are to die as martyrs or by any other violent act...Jesus is telling us not to fear them...they can't touch your soul!! God has not forgotten us and He will deliver His righteousness and justice to all the nations and everyone will know that Jesus is Lord. No matter how bad the game looks right now....in the end...we will win because Christ is our champion.

A vision of a new Cold War, a brick wall constructed somwhere in the Middle east with guards and Muslims on one side, infidels like me on the other. That is the only way out of this mess.

i can help somewhat. David became into on the run from Saul. He concealed out in Goliath's native land of Gath. He became into caught by skill of the King Achish yet escaped to get returned to his very own adult males. He gave Jehovah each and all of the compliment for this get away and none for himself. Psalms 34:a million-7 are those praises for his delivery. vs.8-22 are probably approximately all those Israelites who had suffered under Saul's rulership and had come to connect David after this. 34:a million---although David had many cloth concerns, 1st place in his existence became into praising Jehovah. because of the fact of this he wrote Psalms 86:8. So might desire to we placed God first in ours. 34:2---David by no skill took any glory for himself yet gave all of it to Jehovah. The meek, humble, teachable people have been attracted to Jehovah. Likewise those Christians at present with Jesus because of the fact the top additionally meek, humble, teachable are attracted to Jehovah besides. (Col. a million:18) 34:3---David praised Jehovah no longer in basic terms in inner maximum yet in addition in public. we would desire to continuously besides. (Luke 2:40 9; 4:sixteen-19; 10:21; John 18:20; Heb. 10:24, 25) i don't have greater time yet for in basic terms those 3 verses.
